Noticed something about Tommy Shelby. Despite all his practical, street and book intelligence he lacks emotional intelligence. He doesn’t understand people. Evidence of that is here in this scene and also with Micheal back in season 4 he doesn’t understand that Micheal never warned Tommy about the Italians for his mother. Anyone who is anyone would choose their mother before their cousin. Tommy doesn’t get that.
